Update 19 June 2023

Quiz

The June quiz from Julie Clarke has been loaded to the website and is ready for you to test your general knowledge. (Our quiz page lists all the quizzes that have been set previously.)

Membership Renewal

Membership renewals have begun and you will have been contacted with details about how you can renew your membership. If you like to renew in person we have set some dates aside when we will be in the Masonic Hall, rather than the library, from 9.30 – 11.30 for this purpose on the following dates:

12 July
26 July
9 August
23 August

Light refreshments will be available.

As in recent years group leaders have been invited to attend an information sharing session following the renewal events on either 26th July or 9th August. If you haven’t already, please let Paula know which session you will be attending.

Gift Aid and Membership renewal

If you are about to renew your membership do please consider Gift Aid. If you’re a UK taxpayer, or have become one following the latest pension increase, you can make your donation worth 25% more, at no extra cost by completing a Gift Aid form when you renew.

Stamps

Lesley Farrar wishes to pass on her thanks to all those who responded to her appeal for stamps for The British Hedgehog Preservation Society
If you would like to help with the collection, stamps could be left at a Members  morning, deposited within the u3a post box in the library or dropped through her letter box at 7 Eaton Close Lesley would be delighted to forward them.
