Sandbach u3a was formed in 2003. It is a member of the Third Age Trust, the national body of u3as which provides educational and administrative support to over 1000 u3as across the UK.
The Third Age Trust operates twelve regional u3a areas to focus their support. Sandbach is a member of the North-West region.
Third Age Trust Services for our members include: Educational Events, Workshops, Summer Schools, Subject Advice and a quarterly magazine “Third Age Matters”. They also provide insurance for all members, details of which can be found on their website.

Sandbach u3a maintains contact with other u3as in our local area including Crewe & Nantwich, Alsager, Holmes Chapel and Middlewich through periodical meetings.
