Please note: You must be a member of Sandbach u3a to join any of our groups.
1 – Login to Sandbach and District u3a website using your username and password. Click here if you need help: How to login
2 – Go to the Groups Listing by selecting Groups in the main menu.
3 – Scroll down to the group you wish to join and click on its name.
4 – Check if the group has vacancies under the heading ‘Vacancies’ in the list of details on the left. The entry will show one of three indicators:
The number of vacancies – there are vacancies
‘WL = Waiting List’ – currently there are no vacancies but there is a reasonable chance of one becoming available in the not-too-distant future, and you can apply to join the list
‘Full = the group is unable to take additional members or add to a waiting list.
5 – Provided you are logged on, at the top of the page, next to the group name, you will see two icons. To apply to join, click on the one shown below:
A page will open confirming the vacancy status as described in section 4 above. If there is a vacancy or a place on the waiting list, you will be able to click a button to submit your application.
6 – If you need to ask the leader a question before you apply, click on the icon shown below:
A window will open with a form. Complete the form by entering your question(s) then click ‘Send’. The system will automatically insert your name and address and send the email to the relevant leader/s. They will reply directly to you within a few days.
7 – If you prefer not to use the online system, you can get in touch with the leader/s either by visiting our information desk in Sandbach Library or making contact by using one of the contact methods shown on our Contacts Page.
