Interested in joining the Committee ?

Our constitution requires us to have between 5 and 12 Trustees. Once again we find ourselves in the enviable position of having 11 Trustees who are willing to continue as Trustees.

    • Linda Bilsborrow has been Vice Chair for the past three years and is willing to stand as Chair. She will need to be elected to that post.
    • Moira Egan, our Venues co-ordinator, was co-opted during the year and needs to be elected
    • Four trustees were elected recently and are partway through their period of office, so re-election is not necessary
    • Five Trustees have come to the end of their period of office and are willing to be re-elected.

As well as those 11 Trustees, one member, Ken Talbot, has indicated that he is willing to stand as Vice Chair. He has already attended one Trustees meeting as an observer and will need to be elected to the post of Vice Chair.
So in principle we could have a full complement of Trustees if they are all elected at the AGM. It is also possible for other members to be nominated and elected to the Committee. As well as up to 12 elected Trustees we are also able to co-opt up to two additional Trustees. If any member is interested in joining the Trustees then we would certainly welcome one or two more members joining the Committee.
If you are interested in joining the Committee, you are welcome to discuss what is involved with the Chair, Stuart Naylor, or any of the other Trustees (shown on our website). If you do decide to stand for election you will need to complete a nomination form, with a proposer and seconder, and return this to the Secretary by 22 January 2024.
