Update 13 November 2023

Quiz News

Twenty teams battled it out in St Mary’s church hall last week to find the best brains in Sandbach u3a. Thanks go to Julie Clarke who set the questions; husband Ian for the legwork and Kevin Dean whp recorded the scores on the laser display screen. Jim Thomson provided the sound system from the Scouts and everyone seemed to enjoy the event. Given that prizes went only to the top-scoring two teams, this demonstrates that it’s not the winning that matters but the taking part.
