Twenty teams battled it out in St Mary’s church hall to find the best brains in Sandbach. Julie Clarke set the questions; husband Ian did the legwork and Kevin Dean recorded the scores on the laser display screen. Jim Thomson provided the sound system from the Scouts and everyone seemed to enjoy the event. Given that prizes went only to the top-scoring two teams, this demonstrates that it’s not the winning that matters but the taking part.
If God spares us, we will do it all again next April. The final scores can be analysed from the picture below.
