General Knowledge Quiz

No quiz this month, but Julie will be back in September.

Sign Up Day

Wednesday 24th August at the Wesley Centre from 10.00 – 12.00, tea and coffee available.

You’ll have the chance to talk to group leaders*, and as the name suggests, sign up to groups that are new to you, suggest new groups or if the group you are interested in is full – let your interest be known so that we can judge whether setting up a second, or even, third group would be viable.

Our membership team will also be available for renewals and to enrol new members so do let friends and neighbours too

 *Not all groups have vacancies nor are all group leaders available on this date. The following list shows the groups that have indicated they will attend. Committee members will be able to tell you whether groups not in attendance have vacancies.

Cheshire East libraries – discount code for Senior Railcard

Permanent residents of Cheshire East Council can apply for a discount code allowing them to purchase a one year Senior Railcard (over 60 years old), at the discounted price of £24.
A discount code can be issued at your local Cheshire East library. Please ring up the library to make an appointment, and bring proof of your age and address to obtain your code.
Once you have your code, you will need to purchase the railcard either by calling National Railcards or by using their website. Your railcard will then be sent to your home address by post.

Sandbach Partnership vacancies

Sandbach Partnership, an organisation run by volunteers for the benefit of the community, have been very supportive of our u3a.
