A quiz night has been organised for
Wednesday 18th November 2015
St Mary’s Church Hall, Sandbach
7 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. start
Teams should consist of up to 6 members from the U3A group they attend and also give themselves an identifying name plus the group leader’s name.
Participating teams (maximum 24) should put their names on the entry form which will be put on the U3A notice board in the Library on Monday 5th October. Closing date for entries will be Friday 30th October.
There will be an entry fee of £1 per person which will be used to cover the cost of the hall. Any money left over will be used as prize money.
Members may bring along refreshments to share with their team, i.e. drinks (plus glasses) and nibbles for consumption during the evening.
Keith Pointon will be the quiz master and Geoff Miller will be keeping the scoreboard up to date.
The six members of each group can confer together to obtain an answer to the questions which will then be marked by an adjacent group.
