Concert Details
Thursday 18 June
The Wesley Centre CW11 1DS
2.30pm
Following their recent u3a coffee morning performance, this extended midsummer concert will showcase a wider selection of favourite film songs, performed by both the choir and individual choristers.
The programme will include classic movie numbers, such as the stylish ‘Cheek to Cheek’ (Irving Berlin), the uplifting ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ (Sir Elton John) and the bittersweet ‘Alfie’, one of Bacharach and David’s best-loved songs. Plus many more!
Please come along and support our u3a choir for what promises to be an enjoyable and varied afternoon of music.
Friends, family, and all Sandbach & District u3a members will be very warmly welcomed.
A raffle will be held during the afternoon.
Refreshments will also be available for a small contribution.
