The autumn quiz took its usual form in St Mary’s Church Hall as 25 teams competed for the honour of coming first. The difference between the scores of the teams at the top and bottom of the scoreboard amounted to 3 correct answers per round. Aspiring teams need to put in some homework before the next quiz in April 2020.
Keith Poynton devised the questions and fought a valiant battle with the microphone to deliver them. Jim Thompson provided the sound system while Kevin Dean kept the scores displayed on the wall.
