The quiz had the full complement of 24 teams and was as popular as usual thanks to Keith Pointon, who is compiler of the questions and question master on the night. Jim Thompson set up the sound system so that Keith could repeat the questions endlessly for the teams that were struggling and Kevin Dean kept the scores on the wall.
To reward the teams who did well in the quiz and to avoid upsetting those didn’t perform so well, the results will show the 8 top scoring teams only. It is worth pointing that all the teams listed below are all from groups that do sporting activities. Fresh air and exercise help the brain. Discuss.
