Foden’s Band Museum
Did you know that Foden’s have a museum at their band room which is at what was Bradwall Village Hall (which also now contains a bakery)? The museum chronicles the history of the band https://www.fodensbandheritage.co.uk/about-us/fodens-heritage-centre/ There is a wealth of information about Sandbach, the band and it’s members to be explored.
The principal cornet and band leader Mark Wilkinson has agreed to open up the museum especially for members at which he will give a guided tour lasting about an hour. The first of these will be on Tuesday 25th June at 11.00 am. Places will be limited so please book your place with kentalbot@msn.com
Recycling
We’d very much like to encourage recycling of unwanted items between members. I have 6 29XL printer cartridges (2 black, 2 cyan, 1 magenta and 1 yellow) that I no longer need. They fit an Epsom XP235 printer and they are available for free.
In case you were wondering, despite my great age, I carry out all my correspondence by email. I haven’t written a letter in years.
