The summer knock-out final was completed on Monday, August 18th. It was a very close match and the result was in doubt right up to the very last shot. In the end, Alan and Sylvia beat Gill and Sue Wilford by 18-15 after 21 ends. Alan’s last wood took two away from the ladies. Well done to everyone who entered, especially those who (unlike me) actually won one or more of their games.
In order for you to continue playing indoors, I must have the serial number from the back of your 2014-2015 membership card. Please e-mail this to me or bring it to a session by September 10th at the latest. (Thanks to those who have already done so)
We will continue bowling outdoors on Mondays August 25th (no charge as it is a Bank Holiday), September 1st and September 8th.
We will then bowl indoors on Wednesdays from September 10th.
The outdoor greens will be open for a few weeks after we start bowling indoors, so you can continue to use them if you wish, free of charge.
