Welcome to the 2021 AGM of Sandbach & District u3a.
Last year our AGM was entirely virtual because government regulations did not allow large indoor meetings. This year indoor meetings are allowed, but some members still prefer to avoid indoor meetings so our AGM will therefore be a mixture of virtual and face to face.
This AGM may well set a pattern for how we hold AGMs in the future, with voting in advance followed by a short face to face meeting. We are therefore introducing a Code of Practice which, amongst other things, sets out arrangements for future circumstances where we can’t have a face to face AGM.

Members without access to a computer will receive the AGM documents and vote by post.
There will be a brief face to face meeting in Sandbach Town Hall, CW11 1AX, on Monday 1st November 2021at 9.30 when any members who have not previously voted can do so, and at which any questions from members will be answered. After this meeting we will collate all the votes and the results will be confirmed by the Trustees at their meeting on 15th November, and members informed of the outcome later that day.
