Sandbach u3a is administered and managed in accordance with the constitution by an executive committee of approximately twelve u3a members, who are also trustees for the organisation. They serve for an initial period of up to three years and are elected at the annual general meeting.
Other teams, committees and helpers work tirelessly in support of various aspects of the organisation for the benefit of our members.
Probably the most important role in the organisation is that carried out by group leaders who organise the many groups we offer covering a wide range of subjects and activities. Without them we could not exist.
The committee organise monthly meetings with tea and coffee and a range of speakers. These occasions provide opportunities for members to meet and are free.
There are also monthly tea and cake meetings. These are on the second Sunday of every month and are open and free to all members.
