Karen Grimwood will be attending our coffee morning with Donna, her Ambassador dog. Donna went into training as a guide dog but it wasn’t right for her and so she now earns her keep as an ambassador dog going out to talks with Karen. If she has a puppy in training she may also bring him/her with her but the puppy will not be allowed to be stroked as in training.
Karen is a volunteer speaker for the charity and her talk will last for about 45 minutes plus any questions. In her talk she will explain how Guide dogs are expected to be matched and working by the age of 2 years.
